Requirements

Applicants who would like to apply for a learnership with the Department must adhere to all regulations as set by the Department. Applicants must be a South African citizen and apply within the District or Province of their home. Applicants must also provide a proof of residence with their forms and all certified documentation must not be older than three months.

Application

Interested individuals may, however, download the Z83 Application form or collect an application at the nearest Department of Higher Education to where you live. An employer can terminate the contract of a learnership if:

The employer and learner have agreed in writing to terminate the learnership agreement, or if there is no such agreement, the SETA t hat registered the agreement approves the termination; or

The learner is fairly dismissed for a reason related to the learners conduct or capacity as an employee.
