A learnership is a work based learning programme that leads to an NQF registered qualification. Learnerships are directly related to an occupation or field of work, for example, electrical engineering, hairdressing or project management. Learnerships are managed by Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs). Preference will be given to applicants who have additional tertiary technical qualifications or technical motor industry experience.

The BMW Learnershipsxx Programme will consist of theoretical as well as practical workplace (on-the-job) training. You will provide support to Technicians in preparing, servicing and repairing of all vehicles while also obtaining other necessary knowledge and skills.

Each individual learnership offered by BMW will state the dealership that is offering the apprenticeship, e.g. in the Sandton area in Johannesburg. Training will take place at this dealership, and you will be responsible for all your own expenses such as relocation, transport, and accommodation; it is therefore in your best interests to ensure that you take a position close to where you live.
