REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION IN GENERAL

To be considered for admission to Ameritech, all applicants must meet the following fundamental requirements:

Submit a completed application form
Pay any applicable fees
Make satisfactory arrangements to cover the cost of education
Provide official proof of high school graduation or equivalency (i.e., an official college transcript indicating a degree was conferred)
Submit official transcripts from all postsecondary schools attended if requesting evaluation of transfer credit prior to the first week of the start of the program

Be able to communicate effectively in English
Successfully pass a qualifying entrance examination(s), when required
Satisfactorily pass a background screen and/or drug screen prior to the start of classes, when required

Pass the Distance Education Readiness Assessment (DERA)

How to apply

Admission is selective and based on Ameritech College of Healthcare’s and the community’s available facilities and resources. Applicants can apply for fall, winter, or summer semester admission to a program. Following a review of the applicant’s information, a decision on admittance into a chosen program will be made. Applicants may be accepted up until the third day of classes if the Program Administrator approves them.
Admission to the College requires that all students adhere to established admission deadlines and provide all application materials stipulated by the College, including, but not limited to, official high school and/or college transcripts, application fee if applicable, and completion of all entrance assessments, in order to help students enroll in programs that match their academic preparation and ability.

Ameritech College of Healthcare maintains the right to:

Refuse admission to a candidate who is otherwise qualified.
Refuse entrance if a negative background, drug, or fingerprint check is found.
Postpone suitable applicants’ start dates to a later date.

Ameritech will examine your application in its entirety once you’ve completed the application process. Ameritech notifies applicants of their acceptance or rejection in writing.
