This is to inform all successful Candidates offered Provisional Admission for the Academic Session in the University and, have paid the NON-REFUNDABLE ACCEPTANCE FEE OF TWENTY THOUSAND NAIRA ONLY(N20,000.00) AND TEN THOUSAND NAIRA (N10,000.00) ONLY MEDICAL FEE that the Lagos State University Central Admission Clearance App (LACACA) Screening Exercise will commence from Monday 19th July, 2023 for both Stream 1 and Stream 2 candidates.

Lagos State University Central Admission Clearance App (LACACA)Admission Screening/Clearance Exercise for Stream 1 and Stream 2 Candidates will commence on Monday 19th July, 2023 to Monday 9th August, 2023 STRICTLY ONLINE (NO NEED OF VISITING THE UNIVERSITY CAMPUS).

1.0 GENERAL INFORMATION

Successful Candidates offered Provisional Admission for theAcademic Session in the University are hereby advised to visit the Lagos State University Central Admission Clearance App (LACACA) for the Central Screening Exercise from Monday 19th July, 2022

LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY CENTRAL ADMISSION CLEARANCE APP (LACACA) SCREENING / CLEARANCE DATES & TIME-TABLE SCHEDULE FOR STREAM 1 & STREAM 2

1. For Stream 1

Date: Monday 19th July, 2023 – 9th August, 2023

2. For Stream 2

Date: Monday 19th July, 2023 – 9th August, 2023

3. For Stragglers

Date: Monday 19th July, 2023 – 9th August, 2023

Time: 8am – 4pm Daily.

Venue: STRICTLY ONLINE.

2.0 LASU REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE:

Prospective Candidates should upload the following documents for the Screening Exercise:

1. Four [4] recent passport photographs;
2. Original and Four [4] copies of WAEC/NECO/GCE/NCE/Diploma/A’Level/NABTEB Certificates;
3. New Scratch card to verify WAEC/NECO/GCE results online [2 scratch cards where 2 results are used for the admission]
NOTE: Only One [1] Sitting is allowed for Medicine and Dentistry
4. Original and Four [4] copies of Birth Certificate;
5. Original and Four [4] copies of JAMB Admission Letter;
6. Original and Four [4] copies of JAMB Results;
7. Original and Four [4] copies of IIVC certificate for Lagos Indigenes only;
8. Original and Four [4] copies of a letter of undertaking;
9. Original and Four [4] copies of evidence of payment of acceptance/other fees.

3.0 LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY CENTRAL ADMISSION CLEARANCE APP (LACACA) ONLINE SCREENING & CLEARANCE EXERCISE GUIDELINES

To do their Clearance, Candidates are required to take the following steps:
1. Visit www.lasu.edu.ng
2. Click “Students Services”
3. Click LACACA (Central Admission Clearance App)
4. Update your profile
5. Upload required documents (O’Level result(s), WAEC/NECO scratch card pin, JAMB Result, and Birth Certificate)
6. Submit completed form.

Further Information

1. Please note that you will receive a success message once your form is duly completed and submitted. After this, keep checking your email for updates on the progress on your Clearance.

2. Once your Clearance is completed and approved by the University, you will be notified on your dashboard and therefore requested to be checking your dashboard.

3. Proceed to download and print four (4) copies of the approval page and keep for subsequent information.

The Lagos State University introduced the Online Clearance Exercise named Lagos State University Central Admission Clearance App (LACACA) to ease the process of Admission Clearance and more importantly, curtail the danger of the spread of Covid-19 on the University Campus.
