Fire Engine Driver:

Must have passed Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognised board. Must have at least three years experience of driving heavy vehicles and be in possession of valid driving license. Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties s and must have passed the test specified below:- Height without shoes 165cms.Provided that a concession 2.5 cms height shall be allowed for the members of the Scheduled Tribes. Chest(un-expanded) : 81.5 cms Chest (on-expansion): 85 cms. Weight (minimum) : 50 Kgs Endurance Test: Carrying a man (Fireman lift of 63.5 kgs to a distance of 183 meters within 96 seconds), Clearing 2.7 meters wide ditch landing on both feet (long jump). Climbing 03 meters vertical rope using hands and feet.

Fireman:

Physical Fitness Test. All eligible candidates for the post of Fire Engine Driver and Fireman will have to undergo physical fitness test as per standards specified. Exact date, time and venue will be communicated to the eligible applicants by mail/post.

Detailed Eligibility:

Educational Qualification:

Minimum educational qualification for a person to undergo apprenticeship training in Designated Trades shall be Std 10 passed (in accordance with Apprentice Act 1961) with a minimum of 50% marks in Std 10 examination along with ITI examination passed (Provisional National Trade Certificate acceptable) in relevant trade with aggregate of 65% marks. Further, the candidate should have passed relevant ITI/ trade test from any institute recognized by NCVT and should possess the qualification. Minimum qualification for candidates who are to be enrolled for Rigger as ‘Fresher’ shall be Std 8 pass (without ITI) and for forger & heat treater should be Std 10 pass (without ITI).

Join Indian Navy Recruitment 2022 Selection Process:

The selection process for the post of Sailors for AA and SSR will be based on Written test and Physical Fitness Test.

Written Test :

One common examination will be conducted for AA and SSR entries.
The question paper will be bilingual (Hindi & English) and objective type.
The question paper will comprise of four sections i.e. English, Science, Mathematics and General Awareness.
The standard of the question paper will be that of 10+2 level and the syllabus for the examination is available on website
Duration of examination will be one hour.
All candidates appearing for written examination would be subjected to PFT on the same day.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT) :

Qualifying in Physical Fitness Test (PFT) is mandatory for selection.
PFT will consist of 1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes, 20 squats (Uthak Baithak) and 10 Push-ups. Candidates undergoing PFT will do so at their own risk.
