Department of Social Development bursaries are open for all candidates. Department of Social Development Bursary Requirements

Candidates who wish to apply for these bursaries must fulfill the requirements.

These are as follow:

  • Candidates must be a South African Citizen
  • Candidates must hold a valid South African ID document
  • Candidates must comply with the requirements as set by the University of application
  • Candidates must provide proof of parents/guardians income
  • Candidates must have successfully completed their Grade 12 year / Matric
  • Candidates must have a minimum of a C symbol combined for Matric

My name is Eugene I’m interested in studying for Social work due to lack of financial aid background at home I was not able to finish my application at South African college of Applied Psychology which required R600 for the application fee and it is a private institution which does not approve Gorvenment bursaries e.g Nsfad
