The management of the Yobe State University (YSU) has released and published the guidelines / procedures for the registration exercise for both newly admitted and returning students for the academic session

Yobe State University (YSU) Registration Guidelines | Newly Admitted & Returning Students

A. FRESH (NEWLY ADMITTED) STUDENTS

Step 1: Student report to Registration Screening Committee with original Credentials

Check authenticity of Credentials
Grant Permit Online
Sign & Stamp Student’s admission letter

Step 2: Student report to ICT for Online Registration

Register student online.
Generate RRR code for payment
Give student option to pay directly with ATM card or print invoice for payment @ any Bank branch Print course registration form

Step 3: Student report to Bursary for Payment Verification

Verify payment using RRR code presented by student.
Sign & Stamp on the printed receipt.

Step 4: Student Report to University Clinic for Medical Check

Examine student’s medical fitness.
Issue medical certificate of fitness to student.

Step 5: Submit copy of credentials and course registration form to department, faculty and exams & record.

B. RETURNING STUDENTS

Step 1: Visit ysu.edu.ng/registration

Enter Your Student ID & Jamb Number.
Click on Login

Step 2: Each of the icons displayed on the student profile represent a section of registration form. Click on each and provide required information.

After completing the Contact update and courses registration, Click on Download Course Registration Form.

Note that at this stage, Remita Retrieval Reference(RRR) Code will be generated.

You are required to make payment online or copy the RRR code and pay @ any Bank Branch (you don’t need any account number to make payment).

Also, you are required to submit hard copy of the course registration form to faculty, department and exams & record before lectures commence.
