ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PROGRAMMES

a. Master’s Degree

i) A First Degree in the relevant subject, with a minimum of Second Class Honours, of the Yobe State University or any other University recognized by the Senate of this University.

ii) Any other qualification, together with relevant experience which is deemed to be acceptable to the Board of Postgraduate Studies and the Senate of the Yobe State University.

b. Doctor of Philosophy Degree

i) A Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with ‘B’ Average Grade, from any University recognized by the Senate of Yobe State University, Damaturu.

c. Postgraduate Diploma

i) A First Degree in the relevant subject of the Yobe State University or any other University recognised by the Senate of this University.

ii) HND or HND with any other recognized professional qualification in the relevant/related subject with a minimum of Lower Credit.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

a. Application Forms are obtainable Online @ https://ysu.edu.ng/pgapplication/ on payment of N 10,000 for the purchase of Online Pins.
b. The sales of Online Application begins on Thursday, 15th July, 2023 and closes on 20th October, 2023

c. Guidelines for Filling of Postgraduate Application Form:

Application form is available online at Yobe State University website as stated in the Guidelines below:

i. Visit: https://ysu.edu.ng/pgapplication
ii. Create an account by following the indicated steps.
iii. Generate RRR code and pay the application fee of N 10,000 only as stated on the page using any e-payment channel or any Bank branch.
iv. Login with phone number and the generated RRR code to proceed with the application.
v. Provide all required information in the application and print acknowledgment slip. Note that any application with incomplete information shall not be treated as valid.
vi. Upload all required documents including certificates, official transcripts of academic records, indigene letter, birth certificate or declaration of age, among others.
vii. Online Application Forms begin on Thursday, 15th July, 2023 and close on 20th October, 2023
viii. Proposed Programme including Area of Specialisation (if any) should be clearly stated.
ix.A candidate can apply for admission to only one Degree/Diploma Programme at any given time.
x. A Departmental Postgraduate Committee, or the Board of Postgraduate Studies, or the Senate shall not be obliged to give reasons to any
