If you intend to apply for a bursary from Studietrust, the following will apply.

To qualify for a bursary, you will need to have a

Grade 12 level of education or NSC
At least 50% or higher in all subjects
English with 60%
Math and Science (where applicable)
Be from a Rural Area within South Africa
Be registered with an Institution of Higher Learning, or intending to do so
Possess a South African ID

Bursaries will be awarded to bright candidates who prove their willingness to learn, along with those who are in financial need.

Study Trust Bursary Closing Date

Annually the closing date for most bursaries will be the 30^th of September each year. Candidates can request an application form from the May each year. Please do not enquire about your application before the 15^th of January, of the following year after the application has been made. You may receive an sms by the 31^st of December, of the year you make an application, informing you of your acceptance or decline.

Please keep in mind that one application is all that is required, as these will be considered for all bursaries that the applicant qualifies for.

Along with your required documentation, it is suggested that you also include a motivational letter. Herewith you can motivate why you are an ideal candidate, also include your preferential bursary funds, such as FNB or Investec.
