Duration

General Admission Requirements: 

  • 5 Credits O’level (NECO, WAEC and Equivalent)
  • HND, OND, NCE, ICAN, ACCA & JAMB DE Slip

Specific Admission Requirements.

Minimum qualification for the First Degree Programme: 5 credits at the SSCE, NECO or its equivalents (at not more than 2 sittings) in relevant subjects.

CANDIDATES AWAITING 2022 SSCE/NECO RESULTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PRESENT ACCEPTABLE QUALIFICATIONS BEFORE MATRICULATION.

PLEASE NOTE: Candidates for the Part-Time programme are required to register through JAMB before applying to Babcock University.

Degree Offered: B.A. (Hons.) History and International Studies
Requirements: 5 credits in SSCE/NECO including English Language, Mathematics, History/Government and any other 2 subjects.
Direct Entry: Advanced level or Higher School Certificate, OND, HND, NCE or Bachelor of Arts degree in any related course from any accredited Polytechnic or University with third class division and above. Candidates must present their transcripts and O’ level results- as stated in the O’ level requirements above.

Department of Languages and Literary Studies
Degrees Offered:
1.) B.A. (Hons.) English Studies
2.) B.A. (Hons.) French
Requirements: For 1.) and 2.) above, 5 credits in English Language, Mathematics, Literature in English and any other two subjects. For 2.) above, a credit pass in French may be considered in place of Literature in English.
Direct Entry: Advanced level or Higher School Certificate, OND, HND, NCE or Bachelor of Arts degree in any related course from any accredited Polytechnic or University with third class division and above. Candidates must present their transcripts and O’ level results- as stated in the O’ level requirements above.

Department of Religious Studies
Degree Offered: B.A. (Hons.) Christian Religious Studies.
Requirements: 5 credits in English Language, CRK and any other 3 subjects. At least, a pass in Mathematics is required for the program.
Direct Entry: Advanced level or Higher School Certificate, OND, HND, NCE or Bachelor of Arts degree in any related course from any accredited Polytechnic or University with third class division and above. a. Part-Time Undergraduate Application Fee: N5,000.00
b. Part-Time Direct Entry Application Fee: N2,500.00

  • A New Applicant: Click on Click To Start Application on the top right of the menu to create login details to obtain your Password.
  • Log-in with your Username as your email address and Password as sent to your email address.
  • Once loggedin do the following:
    • Click to fill Form. Make sure you fill all information requested for
    • Click button to save form if you have filled every information.
    • Upload your Passport Photograph according to the specified size, and JPG or PNG format.
    • Select Screening Centre and Date of Screening.
  • Financial Payments
    • Take the APPLICATION ID to the bank (Wema, Diamond, GTB,First Bank SkyBank, UBA). Tell the Teller you are paying for Babcock Application Fees. The fee is ₦ 5,000.00 and ₦2,500.00 respectively. Service charge is ₦350.00.
    • Once payment is done, then log in to the application system and Click Submit
    • Follow all instructions on the left menu, and be sure you print your completed Application Form.
