This is to inform all the students of the University of Calabar (UNICAL) that the institution’s management has announced the resumption date for the commencement of academic activities for the 2022/2023 academic session.

UNICAL Resumption Date

Academic activities are set to resume in the University Of Calabar, UNICAL as the management has announced 4th August 2022 as the latest resumption date for fresh students and 3rd January 2022 for returning students while registration will commence for new students from 18th August 2022.

The release further hinted that lectures for new students will commence from the 27th of September

The Returning Students according to the release will resume on 4th October and registration for them will commence from the 5th-8th October with lectures commencing from October 11, 2.

Details of other activities for the semester are as contained in the Academic Calendar approved by the Senate of the University.

The release charged the Provost, Deans, Directors and Heads of Departments to ensure full compliance with the schedule issued.

The Registrar on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor welcomes all students and wishes them a peaceful and productive academic session.
