How to Apply for NOUN Admission

  1. Visit the National open university admission portal >  www.nouonline.net
  2. On the Noun Website Home Page, go to the Menu Bar, Click on the “Apply for Admission” button.
  3. Select either to Apply for NOUN Undergraduate Programme, NOUN Postgraduate Admission or a PhD. Programme. Other programme is not available at the moment
  4. Then, Go to “Choose Faculty” (note it can be found at the left-hand side of the Noun Application page)
  5. Select Faculty
  6. Fill displayed Noun Online Application form
  7. Click below to View the admission requirement (Criteria) for the selected Programme.
  8. Click the “Apply” button to proceed.
  9. Do take note of the NOUN Admission Application UNIQUE ID displayed. It will needful for Printing Noun admission letter and the Noun Admission process continuation.
  10. Now. Click the ‘Continue‘ button
  11. Select Bank Branch as payment type. Though you may choose other payment options if you do want to pay noun admission form via online with your ATM / Master Card.
  12. To continue with the Bank Branch Payment option. Click the “Pay” button.
  13. Then, Copy and take the generated Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number to any Noun participating bank for payment.

After Payment of NOUN Admission Form Fee at the Bank Branch

  1. Perform step 1 to 3 Again
  2. Then. Goto the “Continue After Payment” option.
  3. Input the generated Unique ID, RRR number and Programme
  4. Click the “Proceed” button.
  5. Fill displaced Online Form. Note that all fields marked with red star are compulsory, so you don’t skip any.

After Filling Displayed Online Form

  1. Click the “Submit” button.
  2. Print Admission Letter (Very important, so you will not have to reprint it later)
  3. Finally, Visit the nearest study centre for screening. It must be the study centre you choose during the Noun admission application form filling.

    I learnt open university pays tution fee per semester and not per session like other Nigerian universities… so I’d like to know how many semesters I’d be paying for as a M.Sc information Technology student. I know masters degree is 18 months which is 3 semesters but under the registrable courses of M.sc InformationTechnology, I can only see two semesters..

  2. Sir I could only print out the payer slip only but for the admission letter and admission form I don’t know how to print it out I’m so confused right now. I only have the payer slip with me
