The authorities of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) have announced that prospective candidates can proceed to select their exam centres and also print their screening/exam cards.

NDA Exams Centre Selection and Printing of Exam Cards Procedure

Application into NDA 76RC has been extended to 7 April 2024 for interested applicants. NDA Screening Test/Exam Centre selection would commence from 8.00AM on 8 April to 13 April 2024. Applicants must ensure that they complete and submit their applications by midnight on 7 April 2024.

Applicants must satisfy the following JAMB conditions to proceed to the Screening Test Stage:

Obtained a JAMB score of 180 and above
Chose Nigerian Defence Academy as their ‘First Choice of Institution’ when registering for JAMB

Candidates that choose NDA as second choice in their JAMB registration could also apply. All candidates must upload their JAMB result on the portal immediately the results are released.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION TO CANDIDATES

Candidates are to note that Any Cadet withdrawn before Commission on disciplinary ground or such other grounds except on medical shall not be granted the use of the Academy Degree Certificate or Transcript as the case may be. This is in line with paragraph 14 Sub Paragraph (2) of NDA ACT CAP N101 which states that Any candidate withdrawn before commissioning on disciplinary ground or such other grounds except on medical pr compassionate reasons shall not be granted the use of the Academy degree Certificate or transcript, as the case may be.

CHANGE IN NDA SCREENING TEST (NDAST) DATE

Due to the Shift in the date for UTME by JAMB, the official date for the NDA Screening Test (NDAST) is now Saturday 23 April, 2024 and not 14 May, 2024 as earlier published. The result would be released after the conduct of the UTME by JAMB. This is also on receipt of Candidates list that Choose NDA as First Choice and Scored 180 and above for all courses less Engineering and 210 and above for Engineering.

Applicants are advised to submit their applications once they have entered their JAMB registration number and uploaded their documents. The JAMB Exam Number is not necessary!

If your passport is not displaying after upload it means that the file was not uploaded properly or that you have invalid characters in the filename i.e. /,(,),#,*,` etc. Delete the application, rename the passport file and re-apply. There is no cost to re-applying if you use the same login details.

If you satisfy the above requirements but still cannot ‘Choose a Centre’; This means you must have entered your JAMB Registration number incorrectly when completing your application. Check your ‘Acknowledgement Form’ to check the JAMB registration number you provided.

To resolve this issue,

Login in to your application account.
Revert Submission
Update your JAMB Registration number
Submit your form again
Log out then login.

You should then be able to choose a centre and download your screening card.
