Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Mountain Top University (MTU) one (1) year Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) programme.

The application window for the = Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) Programme, which is an advanced level Programme designed to prepare candidates for Direct Entry Admission into 200 Level Undergraduate Degree Programmes of MTU and other affiliate universities that accepts the JUPEB Results is now open.

Available Courses

The programme is designed to prepare students for the examination conducted by the consortium of the Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB). Holders of the JUPEB certificate would subsequently be admitted through JAMB Direct Entry into 200 level degree programmes offered by Mountain Top University.

Eligibility

The following candidates are eligible for admission:

Category A

Candidates who have chosen Mountain Top University as First or Second Choice with a JAMB score of 160 and above;
Candidates who scored at least 160 in the JAMB UTME who did not choose Mountain Top University in the UTME and are seeking change of institution; and
Direct Entry Candidates.

Category B

Candidates who scored below 160 in the JAMB UTME or who did not write the 2022 UTME and are seeking admission into One-Year Basic Studies Programme (JUPEB)

Admission Requirements

Admission Requirement for Undergraduate Programmes

Candidates must possess JAMB requirements for all programmes in addition to five credit passes in WAEC/NECO SSCE, GCE and NABTEB to include English Language and other relevant subjects as advertised in the JAMB brochure for each programme.
Candidates awaiting SSCE results or its equivalent can also apply for admission provided the result will be available at resumption.

Direct Entry

Direct Entry candidates must possess GCE A’ level, ND,NCE, JUPEB or IJMB in addition to °level requirements of the proposed course of study.
Direct Entry admissions are also available for all courses in the University.

Visit mtu.edu.ng (click on “Student” and select “2022 Prospective Students” from the drop-down menu). Click on “Start a Fresh Application”
Enter your basic details (Name, Active Mobile Phone Number and E-mail Address) and Click on “Continue”
Download and print your Payment Voucher.
Go to any of the under-listed banks with the printout of your Payment Voucher and make payment for the sum of N 10, 000 (For Foundation) to any of the following Banks:
