The Senate of the Rivers State University at an emergency meeting held on Tuesday 22nd February, 2024 approved the resumption of Academic activities for the academic session.
RSUST Resumption Date for 1st Semester Academic Session
According to the management, all fresh/newly admitted students are expected to resume for commencement of academic activities on Monday 7th March, 2024 while Returning students are to resume a week later on Monday 14th March, 2024.
Online registration exercise for all students commences on Monday 21st March, 2024.
First semester lectures is expected to commence on Monday 21st March, 2024
Orientation for Fresh students has been scheduled to hold from Monday 14th March – Friday 18th March, 2024
Detailed information on the rest of the calendar of Academic activities for session has been communicated to all staff and students.
All students are directed to observe COVID-19 protocols upon resumption as sanction would be imposed on any one found to be flouting this directive.
