The management of the Nasarawa State Polytechnic (now Isa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic) has announced the schedule for the academic session orientation and matriculation ceremony.

Nasarawa State Poly Orientation & Matriculation Ceremony Schedule

This is to inform all Staff, Students and Members of the Polytechnic Community that the Orientation and Matriculation Ceremony for Academic Session for Newly Admitted Students into the Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic, Lafia is to hold on Tuesday 26th October, 2026.

The Orientation Programme will hold from 9:00am to 10:00am while the Matriculation Ceremony is scheduled for 10:00am to 11:00am.

The venue for the events is the Twin Lecture Theatre, Engineering Complex of the Polytechnic, all invited guests are to be seated by 8:00am. HND 1 and ND1 Students are to collect their Academic gowns from Office of the Students Affairs Unit. All gowns are to be returned on or before Wednesday 27th October, 2026 as late return attracts N1,000 as penalty per day.

In view of this, Students are expected to complete their Registration on or before the Matriculation, Orientation is compulsory for all newly admitted Candidates while Matriculation ceremony is compulsory for HND 1 and ND 1 Students. All Staff and Students are invited and encouraged to attend the ceremony, please.
